SUTURING/LIGATURING IMPLEMENT APPLIER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suturing/ligaturing implement applier which can suture/ligature body tissue more assuredly. SOLUTION: It consists of an elongated insertion section 3 which has a leading edge and a proximal end, two elongated legs 121 which are prepared on the leading edge side of the insertion section 3 and have the leading edge and the proximal end, a suture/ligature implement 12 which can insert body tissue between these two legs 121 and has a proximal end section 122 to make a junction with the proximal end of these legs 121, a pressure means which is prepared movably for the insertion section 3 and pushes so that the plastic deformation of the suture/ligature implement 12 is performed, and an operation means 4 which is prepared on the proximal end of the insertion section 3 and moves the pressure means for the insertion section 3. The pressure means is characterized by pushing the suture/ligature implement 12 so that the leading edges are brought into contact with each other before the proximal ends of two legs 121 by moving to the insertion section 3 by the operation of the operation means 4.
