Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wavelength selective absorption film which has a high total light transmittance, selectively absorbs near-infrared light and neon light, excels in temporal stability of the quality at high temperature and high humidity, and excels also in planarity, a method for producing the wavelength selective absorption film, and a wavelength selective absorption filter. SOLUTION: The wavelength selective absorption film is obtained by disposing, on a transparent base film, a wavelength selective absorption layer formed by applying and drying a coating liquid containing a near-infrared absorbing dye having maximum absorption at a wavelength of 800-1,200 nm, a neon light cutting-off dye having maximum absorption at a wavelength of 550-620 nm, a resin and organic solvent, and then carrying out post curing, wherein the near-infrared absorbing dye contains at least a diimonium salt compound and the post curing is carried out under the condition that post curing temperature is 25-70°C and the product of the curing temperature and curing time (h) is ≥1,000(°C×h).
