BATTERY RESIDUAL CHARGE DETECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery residual charge detector for shortening measurement time, enhancing calculation accuracy on total consumption and linearity accuracy on output characteristics, reducing element size to prevent a circuit scale from increasing, and realizing cost lowering. SOLUTION: After detecting a consumed electric current owing to electric charge or discharge by means of a detection resistance, the direction and increase/decrease of the electric current owing to the electric charge or discharge are detected while varying the gradient of voltage by an integrator. The direction and increase/decrease are digitized by an oscillator and a comparator, and then digitally integrated.
