Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving support device which gives a guide with a content and a timing suitable to the situation. SOLUTION: A GPS 11 acquires position information, a lane recognition part 12 recognizes the traveling lane of one's own vehicle, a driver recognition part 13 recognizes a driver, and traveling history data 23 stores the past traveling routes of the vehicle. A lane route setting part 22 sets the route of a lane to be traveled by the vehicle from a traveling scheduled route set by an entire route setting part 12 and the traveling lane, and a guide processing part 20 controls the content or timing of route guide based on road shape, difficulty of driving operation, driver's skill or traveling history, and traffic information.
