PRESSURIZING CENTRIFUGAL PUMP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressurizing centrifugal pump capable of obtaining high pressure by forming a fluid passage in such a manner that cross section area thereof gradually gets larger from a suction port toward a delivery port and gets smaller after that, and capable of facilitating manufacturing work for changing cross section of the fluid passage. SOLUTION: Diameter D2 of an impeller 2 is formed smaller than inner diameter D1 of a drum shape casing 1, a rotation center C2 of the impeller and a center C1 of the drum shape casing are shifted to make an outer circumference of the impeller close to an inner surface of a circumference wall 10b of the drum shape casing, the fluid passage 3 making radial gap S between the outer circumference of the impeller and the inner circumference of the drum shaped casing change is formed, to make the fluid passage formed in such a manner that cross section thereof gradually gets larger from the suction port toward the delivery port and gets smaller after that.
