Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tantalum powder showing high capacitance. SOLUTION: This method for producing a tantalum powder comprises: reacting a mixture of tantalum chloride and a hydride of an alkaline earth metal by igniting it under an inert atmosphere; then cleaning the produced tantalum powder with a mineral acid to isolate the tantalum powder; and dry it. The anode is obtained by sintering the powder at 1,100 to 1,300°C for 10 minutes, and anodizing it at 16 volt. The anode shows a specific charge of 120,000 to 180,000 μFV/g and a leakage current of less than 2 nA/μFV. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
