DECORATIVE FILM FOR STEEL SHEET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative film for a steel sheet which is not foamed and has good adhesiveness even if the temperature of the steel sheet at the time of lamination is 220°C, has good durability in boiling water and the good adhesiveness with a coking agent. SOLUTION: The decorative film for the steel sheet is constituted by providing an adhesive layer (A), which is based on an amorphous copolymerized polyethylene terephthalate resin prepared by substituting a part of ethylene glycol being a diol part of polyethylene terephthalate with 1,4-cyclohexane dimethanol, on the steel sheet on the side of the laminating surface with the steel sheet and providing a layer (B), which is based on polybutylene terephthalate compounded with a pigment, on the adhesive layer and characterized in that the thickness of the adhesive layer (A) is 2-50 μm and below 50% of the thickness of all of the layers. This decorative film is preferably used in a unit bath decorative steel sheet. The adding amount of the pigment in the layer (B) is 10-40 wt.% and a surface layer (C), which is composed of 50-90 wt.% of polybutylene terephthalate and 50-10 wt.% of a polyethylene terephthalate resin and contains no pigment, is provided on the layer (B).
