CONNECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of providing a lock feeling equivalent to that of a two-end supported structure while eliminating a protruding part of a lock arm. SOLUTION: When the lock arm 11 is laterally bent by a predetermined amount by interference of a side projection part 11b of the lock arm 11 with a side engagement part 21b in response to fitting of male/female housings, a projecting part 11f of the male housing 1 is positioned under a side projection part 11c. Then, a main engagement part 21a contacts a main projection part 11a of the lock arm 11 to provide force to the lower side. Then, since the projecting part 11f is positioned under the side projection part 11c, the lock arm 11 is arched backward. When the fitting of the male/female housings is further continued, the main projection part 11a and the main engagement part 21a are engaged with each other by synchronizing with timing at which the bend of the lock arm 11 is released and the fitting of the male/female housings is completed.
