Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-pipe travel carriage, in-pipe surface stress measuring device, in-pipe surface stress measuring method for easily measuring a physical quantity of an unexposed pipeline, namely a buried pipe without drilling. SOLUTION: The in-pipe travel carriage comprises a body section 5 that is arranged in a pipe and can travel in the pipe axis direction, a turning shaft member 7 that is attached to the body section 5 and is turnable around the pipe axis, a driving means 9 for turning the turning shaft member 7 around the pipe axis, and a magnetic anisotropy sensor 11 which is attached to the turning shaft member 7, moves in the pipe circumference direction, and detects the physical quantity of the in-pipe surface.
