CONNECTION JOINT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection joint which allows easy connection of a pipe body and achieves reliable coming-off prevention of the pipe body. SOLUTION: A connection joint 1 is employed to connect piping 51 with piping 52 and equipped with a joint body 2 and a clip member 3. The joint body 2 contains a large-diameter connection part 5 and a small-diameter connection part 6 having an outer diameter smaller than the large-diameter connection part has, wherein a fastening part 7 made up of a plurality of fastening pieces 15 is provided to the outer periphery of the joint body. In the joint body 2, the clearance between the small-diameter connection part 6 and the fastening piece 15 is thinner than the wall thickness of the second pipe body. When connecting the small-diameter connection part 6 with the piping 52, therefore, the fastening piece 15 bulges outside. By inserting the joint body 2 into the piping 51 with the small-diameter connection part 6 connected with the piping 52, the fastening piece 15 is deflected to the small-diameter connection part 6 side and made to bite into the surface of the piping 52. When the clip member 3 is mounted in this state, the joint body 2 is prevented from coming off from the piping 51, so that the piping 51 is firmly connected with the piping 52.
