Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc brake having easy and simple construction for detecting that a disc rotor reaches a wear limit, and to provide its disc rotor. SOLUTION: The disc rotor 14 for the disc brake 10 comprises a thinning detecting member 40 to be protruded from the surface of the disc rotor 14 when a disc 14a is thinned by a prescribed amount, to contact a caliper body 36 arranged around the disc rotor 14. The protruded thinning detecting member 40 being rotated together with the disc rotor 14 contacts the caliper body 36 in certain cycles and outputs contact sounds corresponding to the rotating cycles of the disc rotor 14, and a user of the disc rotor 10 recognizes that the disc rotor wears by a prescribed amount.
