BEARING WALL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the structure of a bearing wall suitable for a structure for a house by a framed wall construction method using steel frameworks. SOLUTION: The bearing wall has the frameworks 2a, 2b formed of lightweight shape steel, a face plate 3 mounted to the frames using connectors 5, and presser bars 4a, 4b mounted to the whole widthwise length of vertical ends of the face plate 3 from the outside of the connectors 5. The presser bars 4a, 4b are screw-fitted to the frames using connectors 5 screwing through the face plate 3, to prevent the generation of force in a pull-out direction to the joint parts of the face plate 3 and frames to thereby improve deformation performance of the bearing wall 1.
