Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating composition for an interior material of a car, which comprises a fire-proofing mechanism similar to a chemical fiber construction of an interior material of a car and thus can give a coating composition containing a novel non-halogen type flame retarding agent, the composition being capable of using as a car mat, a car sheet and other interior parts of the recent highly functionalized car. SOLUTION: The coating composition for an interior material of a car comprises 100 pts.mass of a solid content of a synthetic resin emulsion obtained by polymerizing 100 pts.mass of a monomer containing an unsaturated group in the presence of 0.01-30 pts.mass of a chain transfer agent and 1-400 pts.mass of one or more phosphorus type flame retarding agent.
