Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a screw conveyor structured to support a long-shaft screw with an intermediate bearing part wherein screw blades are not continued and carried material can not be smoothly carried and the intermediate bearing part hinders movement of the carried materials. SOLUTION: In the screw conveyor having a long shaft length, the screw blades 22 of a screw 2 are continuously fitted over the whole length of the screw shaft 21, and the intermediate bearing part 3 is provided to support the peripheral edge of the screw blades 22 and 22B in the sliding-contact condition over the nearly whole circumference in a range of the predetermined small length at an intermediate position in the longitudinal direction of a conveyor casing 1.
