Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a current flowing to a capacitor and a size of the capacitor by suppressing heat generation in a vehicle motor drive controller. SOLUTION: The vehicle motor drive controller is provided with a voltage boosting converter (4), first and second inverters (INV1, INV2, 7a, 7b), first and second motor-generators (MG1, MG2, 9a, 9b), and a carrier control means (20) for controlling a carrier frequency of the voltage boosting converter so as to be twice as high as a carrier frequency of the first and second inverters, and also controlling a phase difference between a carrier of the voltage boosting converter and a carrier of the first and second inverters based on torque instructions and rotation speeds of the first and second motor-generators and a switching duty of the voltage boosting converter.
