METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONFIRMING COMMUNICATION CONNECTION OF HOME AUTOMATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for confirming communication connection of a home automation (HA) system which is suitable for confirming communication and detection of a fault place in the case of trial operation. SOLUTION: Using a checker for returning a response signal to a controller in response to a confirmation signal transmitted to the controller, a communication connection state of the HA system is confirmed step by step. The method comprises a first step of confirming a communication connection state from the controller to objective terminal equipment, a second step of confirming the communication connection state of the controller itself, a third step of confirming a communication connection state from the controller to a connection line, a fourth step of confirming a communication connection state from an interface unit (IFU) input side to an IFU output side, and a fifth step of confirming a communication connection state from an IFU output side to a terminal device input side, and confirms them step by step.
