CAMERA CONTROLLER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always photograph a moving intrusion object without framing it out by controlling a monitor camera even when sensor information is not received by a camera controller which automatically controls the photographing direction of the monitor camera to photograph a sensor position by referring to sensor information of an intrusion sensor, which can be received at fixed intervals. SOLUTION: The camera controller is equipped with: a sensor discriminating means of discriminating the intrusion sensor; a storage means of storing the sensor information; a predicting means of predicting the position of the intrusion object from past sensor information; a rotating direction calculating means of calculating the photographing direction of the camera from the prediction result; and a driving control means of changing the photographing direction of the camera to the calculated rotating direction. The controller controls the rotating direction and rotating speed of the camera so that the camera is directed to the photographing object position that the predicting means predicts referring to the past sensor information, thereby automatically tracking the moving intrusion object.
