SOLUTION: The recorder/reproducer 1 comprising a main recording medium HDD 103 for recording a content containing encoded video data, a means 203 for setting reserved recording, and a means 206 for recording the video data of a program on the main recording medium HDD 103 based on the setting of reserved recording by the reserved recording setting means 206 and performing recording and reproduction of the video data is further provided a means 204 for setting a term of validity in a program subjected to reserved recording, and a means 212 for classifying the programs based on the term of validity thereof and the current time and displaying the list of classified programs.
