Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect a capacitor for noise prevention by selecting a required position which is optimal for noise prevention without disconnecting a power source line. SOLUTION: This catalyst contact type radical formation device is provided with a ground terminal 16 whose one end is connected to one electrode of a capacitor 14 stored in a case 15, and whose other end is projected from a case 15, and fixed to a vehicle ground 12 and a terminal 17 for connection whose one end is connected to the other electrode, and whose other end is projected from the case 15, and equipped with a press-fit section 17c which can be connected to the required part of a power source line 11. The intermediate peeling of the required part of the power source line 11 is carried out, and the press-fit section 17c of the terminal 17 for connection is press-fit, and the ground terminal 16 is fixed to the vehicle ground 12.
