Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal can battery assembly for inhibiting short-circuiting generated by shock related to deformation in a metal can. SOLUTION: A tapered assembly 900 has a taper at least at one of both end sections. A center height 907 is higher than an outer-periphery height 908. A first edge 906 having each taper in each of sectional and outer shapes is provided. The tapered section allows a cavity to be present between the corner section of the metal can and an electrode assembly.
