CONDUCTIVE SPONGE ROLLER AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a conductive sponge roller having a stable electric resistance and satisfactory rotating torque in use at low cost, and to provide the conductive sponge rubber roller obtained by the manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing conductive sponge rubber roller comprises a step of cylindrically molding a non-vulcanized conductive rubber member on the outer circumference of a vulcanizing-molding metal core, a step of forming the vulcanized or semi-vulcanized conductive sponge rubber member by heating the conductive rubber member, a step of separating the conductive sponge rubber member from the vulcanizing-molding metal core and obtaining a conductive sponge rubber cylinder, a step of applying the metal shaft member with vulcanizing adhesive agent, a step of inserting the metal shaft member into the conductive sponge rubber cylinder, and a step of performing the vulcanization-adhesion of the conductive sponge rubber cylinder and the metal shaft member.
