Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable gas flowmeter capable of preventing stains from adhering to a heating sensor element. SOLUTION: In the gas flowmeter for detecting the mass flow of gas, the heating sensor element is constituted of a heating element part made of a heating resistor having a protective coating on its surface and formed in a ceramic bobbin, lead parts electrically connected to both sides of the heating element part, and fixing parts for fixing the lead parts in a gas channel and electrically connected to an external circuit. The lead parts are bent to the downstream side of a gas flow in the vicinity of joints to the heating element approximately in parallel with the gas flow or further bent to the side of the heating element and connected and fixed to the fixing parts.
