AIR PURGE COMPLETION DETERMINING DEVICE FOR GAS PIPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air purge completion determining device for a gas pipe capable of preventing influence of wind or the like on a flame and easily and safely confirming the flame by visual observation. SOLUTION: A device body 2 comprises a body frame 7; a joint attachable to and detachable from the gas pipe side; a combustion part; a gas passage communicating with the combustion part from the joint; a cock for opening/closing the gas passage; an ignition device for igniting combustion gas at a combustion part; a switch 30 for operating and stopping the ignition device; and a cover body 32 surrounding the periphery of the combustion part. An opening 43 for visually observing the combustion part from the front side is formed from the front face to the upper face of the cover body 32, and a surface for covering the back side of the combustion part, of the cover body 32 is formed in black.
