SOLUTION: The passenger conveyor comprises: a main body frame 1; a plurality of footboards disposed to be driven in the main body frame 1; and the guide rail 2 attached to the main body frame 1 to guide the footboards. The guide rail 2 has a guide rail main body 2a, and a supporting part 3 fixed to the guide rail main body 2a. A cross-sectional face of the supporting part 3 is in a shape of inverted-U, that is, the bottom of the cross-sectional face is opened.
