DOOR FOR PLATFORM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door for a platform constructed thin and given good easiness in performing the maintenance, incorporating a small and simple drive system which assures easy manufacture and/or assembly and enables generating a large output in proportion to the input. SOLUTION: The door for the platform is equipped with a screen-shaped door pocket 12 installed at the platform of a track, doors 2 to be opened and closed in going into and coming out of the door pocket 12, and a linear motor to open and close the doors 2, wherein the linear motor has a primary member 21 furnished with a winding and a secondary member 22 furnished with a moving element having magnetism, and the primary member 21 is fixed to the doors 2 while the secondary member 22 is secured to the door pocket 12. The door pocket 12 is furnished with a running path 10, and a sliding member 6 to run on the path 10 is attached to the doors 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
