Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording method and recorded matter which reduce an uncomfortable feel of the surface gloss of a recorded image formed on various recording media, and obtain the image being natural and excellent in quality by a high-speed, low-cost and simple process, in inkjet recording using a pigment ink. SOLUTION: In a boundary portion between an effective image area and a non-recording area, a transparent pattern having a surface glossiness different at least from those of these two areas is provided. In the case of eliminating the uncomfortable feel of the surface gloss, for instance, the transparent pattern of at least one stage which has the surface glossiness being intermediate between the two areas is formed.
