Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a portable charger wherein a capacity for fuel can be ensured and fuel can be easily replenished. SOLUTION: The charger 1 has in its body 10 a rod-shaped cartridge housing unit 12 that houses a detachable fuel cartridge 11 and a flat fuel power generation unit 14. The body 10 includes a thick first enclosure 10a that is flat in shape and contains the cartridge housing unit 12; and a second enclosure 10b that contains the fuel power generation unit 14 and is thinner than the first enclosure 10a. The first enclosure 10a and the second enclosure 10b are so constructed that either wide body surface is formed of a continuous flat portion and the other wide body surface opposed to this wide body surface is formed of a stepped portion 17. The second enclosure 10b is provided with a placement 19 on which equipment to be charged is placed, positioned in the first flat portion 18a on the stepped portion side; and an attachment 20 for attaching the body 10 to any other object, positioned in the second flat portion 18b of the second enclosure 10b opposite the first flat portion 18a.
