Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely collect used consumables and impartially place a limit of use on users using the consumables in various ways in this case. SOLUTION: A consumables collection apparatus and method is configured such that a main body of the apparatus recognizes that a user exchanges consumables to be collected without managing the used period of the consumables on the basis of a date and a time (period), when the user does not return the consumables for an arbitrary period, the apparatus main body stepwisely switches processes of urging the user to return the consumables in response to the quantity of the exchanged consumables.
