Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat transfer tube spacer of a spiral heat exchanger capable of absorbing stress by thermal elongation of a heat transfer tube, while properly holding a dimension between partition plates and a dimension between the heat transfer tubes. SOLUTION: This spiral heat exchanger has a vessel part formed by arranging an upper plate 13 and a lower plate 12 in a cylindrical body, a spiral passage for arranging the partition plate 2 of forming a plate in a spiral shape between the vessel parts, airtightly forming a wall space of this partition plate 2 and flowing low temperature water, a high temperature water passage formed by superposing and arranging a cross-sectional circular spiral pipe 1 in a plurality of stages on the spiral passage, a low temperature water introducing pipe and a discharge pipe arranged by communicating with the vessel part; and uses an elastically deformable Z-shaped spiral heat exchanger heat transfer tube spacer arranged in zigzag arrangement in a plurality in a low temperature water flowing space of the spiral passage, holding a dimension of the mutually adjacent spiral pipes and a dimension between the wall space of the spirally formed partition plate and absorbing the stress by the thermal elongation of the spiral pipe.
