Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-retentive pavement system which can be easily managed by simple equipment, which is equipped with automatic water supply equipment for efficiently supplying water to a water-retentive pavement, and which prevents a restriction on an application place. SOLUTION: A water-retentive road (water-retentive pavement system) 1 is equipped with a water-retentive paving material 11 and the automatic water supply equipment 20 for supplying water 40 to the material 11. The equipment 20 is equipped with an irrigation pipe (irrigation means) 21 which is embedded in the bearing layer 12 of the material 11, a water storage tank 22 wherein water is to be stored, a water supply pump (water supply means) 23 which is operated by a direct-current power source so as to supply the irrigation pipe 21 with the water 40 stored in the tank 22, and a photovoltaic power generator 30 for generating electric power to be supplied to the pump 23.
