Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air purifier for decomposition and purification of purified components in air with a catalytic substance. SOLUTION: The air purifier consists of an airflow pipe 1, a fan 2 arranged at its opening, a dust collecting filter 3 arranged at the downstream of the fan, a magnetron 4 generating microwave arranged at its downstream, a purifying part 5 having air permeability arranged at the downstream side, and the purifying part consists of a catalytic substance carried on a heating part for absorbing the electromagnetic wave of the microwave generating part and the surface, and the heating part consists of at least one kind of heating materials selected from carbon, copper oxide, iron oxide, nickel oxide, vanadium oxide, and tungsten oxide on the surface of the supporting substrate which does not absorb electromagnetic wave, and the catalytic substance consists of at least one kind selected from manganese oxide, copper oxide, iron oxide, nickel oxide, vanadium oxide, platinum, gold, and palladium.
