Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a case for a lithium secondary battery having a bottom wall formed into a curved shape protruding downward, of which the safety is improved by preventing the bottom wall from bending inward when the battery is compressed in a direction vertical to a lengthwise direction, and a lithium secondary battery using the same. SOLUTION: The case for the lithium secondary battery applied to the lithium secondary battery comprises an electrode assembly formed by winding a cathode plate, an anode plate, and a separator interposed between the electrodes, and the case receiving the electrode assembly inserted into an upper-step opening.
