Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the reflection of an external light without lowering the emission efficiency of a luminescent layer. SOLUTION: This flat display device comprises a pixel electrode 210 formed on one face of a substrate 200, an organic film 220 formed on the pixel electrode 210 and including at least the luminescent layer, an counter electrode 230 formed on the organic film 220, a transparent film 240 formed on the counter electrode 230, and a semi-permeable metal layer 242 formed on the transparent film 240. The transparent film 240 is an organic film, an inorganic film or their laminated structure, whose thickness is 400-1300 , preferably 500-800 .
