Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that, when a control valve type lead acid storage battery is used in a partially charged state, the deterioration of the capacity of the storage battery and irreversible sulfation are brought about and the lifetime of the storage battery is shortened. SOLUTION: When the control valve type lead acid storage battery is used in a partially charged state by charging and discharging, all discharged amounts at the discharge of the storage battery are accumulated, and when the total quantity of the discharged amount has become two times to eight times of the rated capacity of the storage battery, the storage battery is overcharged and brought into a 100% charged state. Thereby, the consumption of an electrolytic liquid of the control valve type lead acid storage battery which uses only a limited amount of the electrolytic liquid is prevented as much as possible and the occurrence of irreversible sulfation is prevented to improve the cycle life.
