VIRTUALIZATION LOGIC

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a virtualization logic which makes manufacturing of a device prototype easy and its testing easier. SOLUTION: The virtual logic 230 is provided with: a data store which is connected dynamically to a processor 220 without an internal virtualization logic and stores a trapping memory address; an address comparison logic 234 for receiving a memory transaction from the processor 220 and selectively generating a trap when the memory transaction refers to the trapping memory address; a data store for storing data on memory read transaction whose trap is generated by the address comparison logic 234; a data store for storing data on memory read transaction whose trap is generated by the address comparison logic 234; and a transaction logic 239 for supplying the processor 220 with a signal selectively in response to the address comparison logic 234 generating the trap.
