PUMP STRUCTURE MOUNTED ON GATE FACILITY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump structure mounted on a gate facility facilitating mounting work on gate and maintenance, and performing miniaturization by devising arrangement of a drive motor of a pump mounted on the gate. SOLUTION: The pump 4 forcedly draining water in an upstream side water channel 2a to a downstream side water channel 2b is mounted on the gate 11. AN opening/closing door 5 is attached to an inner part side of the gate 11 and in a delivery port 41b side of the pump 4. An upper gear box 6 having an upper part of a transmission shaft 43 around a vertical rotation axis of the pump 4 stored in a water-proof inside is attached right above the pump 4. A horizontal shaft rotation motor 7 is attached to a desired section of side part of an upper part gear box 6 in such a manner that the same can be freely replaced, the transmission shaft 43 of the pump 4 and a rotary shaft 71 of the motor 7 are interlocked and connected via a perpendicularly meshing gear mechanism 61 stored inside of the upper part gear box 6.
