JOINING CONSTRUCTION METHOD FOR SHIELD TUNNEL AND STRUCTURE OF SHIELD TUNNEL BY ITS CONSTRUCTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely join a new shield tunnel at a low cost without a soil improvement such as a chemical feeding, a freezing method or the like without requiring a special remodeling to a shield machine when the new shield tunnel is joined with the side face of an existing shield tunnel. SOLUTION: An opening section 12 is formed previously at the place of the joining of the existing shield tunnel 11, and the opening section 12 is lined previously with a movable type temporary lining body 13. The shield machine 30 for constructing the new shield tunnel is pipe-jacked and brought near to the opening section 12 as the place of the joining of the existing shield tunnel 11 in the case of a joining construction, and a tunnel space section on the inside of the joining place is sealed hermetically by a guide pipe 20. The temporary lining body 13 is pushed into the guide pipe 20 by the frond end of the shield machine 30 and the shield machine 30 is penetrated into to the existing shield tunnel 11. An opening between the cylinder body of the shield machine and the opening section 12 is cut-off, and the guide pipe 20, the temporary lining body 13 and a cutter for the shield machine 30 are removed.
