SOLUTION: The fibrous porous silica metal composite particle has a chemical formula expressed by the general formula: (Si1-nMn)O2, where M represents a polyvalent metal, n is a figure below 0.1 not inclusive of 0 and in which the Si atom in the silicate skeleton is substituted with the polyvalent metal M.
