EDDY CURRENT SORTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eddy current sorter in which materials to be sorted, especially a non-magnetic metal material can be projected forward as strongly as possible to improve sorting efficiency. SOLUTION: There is provided an eddy current sorter comprising: an endless belt 10 stretchingly provided between a head pulley 2 on the front side and a tail pulley 8 on the rear side; a hopper 14 for supplying onto the endless pulley 10 the materials to be sorted containing the non-magnetic metal material or the like; a magnet roll 4 concentrically disposed inside the head pulley 2; a plurality of permanent magnets 6 disposed circumferentially and intermittently on the outer peripheral surface of the magnet roll 4; a drive unit 24 for rotating and moving the endless belt 10; a drive unit 22 for rotating the magnet roll 4 in the same direction as the head pulley 2; and a regulated plate 30 which is provided immediately rearward from a center line f of the head pulley 2 and at a position above the endless belt 10, so that the non-magnetic metal material swirled up is reflected downward, wherein the materials to be sorted containing the non-magnetic metal material or the like charged from the hopper 14 are sorted.
