Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optoelectronic module having a high yield at a low manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: An optical sub-assembly (OSA) 240 for an optoelectronic module 200 uses optical rotation whereby the OSA 240 can be attached to a circuit substrate 260 of a basic module. In a manufacturing process of the OSA 240, the OSA 240 can be manufactured by being separated from the manufacturing of the basic module, and therefore complexity is reduced, and a high yield can be attained. The manufacturing of the OSA 240 includes the burn-in test of an optoelectronic chip 210 on a flex circuit 222, and in the flex circuit 222, a yield loss cost is reduced when a size is small and the optoelectronic chip 210 is defective. The OSA 240 and the basic module can be mechanically attached, and electrically connected by using a wire bonding technique. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
