ATTACHMENT STRUCTURE OF TERMINAL FITTING AND ALIGNMENT PLATE IN CONNECTOR FOR SUBSTRATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate an attachment work of alignment plates 30 to substrate connecting parts of terminal fittings 20 in a connector for a substrate. SOLUTION: Attachment of alignment plates 30 to terminal fittings 20 is performed before insertion molding, during which alignment of the terminal fittings 20 tend to be distorted due to injection pressure, therefore, the attachment is easier comparing with attaching alignment plates after the insertion molding. Since the alignment plates 30 are positioned near cores 11 of the substrate connecting parts 23 at the time of the insertion molding, the cores 11 are prevented from being deformed by the alignment plates even if they receive injection pressure, so that distortion of the alignment of the substrate connecting parts can surely be prevented.
