Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly versatile tracking system capable of being efficiently and uniformly configured. SOLUTION: This tracking system for tracking a work 12 carried in a production line while being subjected to predetermined processing by each machine 10 comprises a PLC 20 directly controlling each machine, a production management-side computer 40 performing production management of the work, and a tracking computer 30 provided between the PLC and the production management-side computer to execute a tracking program for producing the work carried in the production line. The tracking program is configured to operate based on a definition file defining the connecting relation of each machine and an acquisition method of work information, and the work information from the PLC.
