DISPLAY RECORDING MEDIUM AND WRITING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display recording medium capable of displaying information without a power supply and a writing device that make it possible to easily confirm whether information is properly rewritten to the display recording medium in such a case. SOLUTION: The display recording medium 2A which holds a written image without any power supply has an image write area 2c and a print confirmation display area 2e provided adjacently thereto, and the image writing device writes information thereto at the same time. After the information is written, an image having been rewritten is displayed in an image display area 2d, information indicating that the image display area 3d is rewritten is displayed in the printing confirmation display area 2e, and the display disappears a certain time later, so it can easily be confirmed whether the image is successfully rewritten.
