Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly grasp a mounting state of an air filter when the detachable air filter is used in a cleaner mechanism control device of the air conditioner wherein the air filter is automatically cleaned. SOLUTION: This air conditioner comprises a filter mounting check transmitting means for transmitting a signal for confirming the mounting of the air filter, and a filter mounting check reading-out outputting means for reading out and outputting a signal from the filter mounting check transmitting means, and a cleaning mechanism is driven by the output from the filter mounting check reading-out outputting means to grasp the mounting state of the air filter on the basis of a driving state of the cleaning mechanism.
