Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cool an airfoil section by providing a rib with holes for impingement-cooling a tip cap. SOLUTION: This cooling system for the airfoil section 12 comprises a front and a rear cooling circuits 22 and 24 supplied with a cooling medium. Both the circuits comprise serpentine passages 36, 38, 46, 48 and 50. A central rib 34 divides the front and the rear cooling circuits, and comprises an opening part 70 adjacent to a tip of the airfoil section to supply a jet stream of the cooling medium from the front cooling circuit to a rear part of the cap 60 so that the jet stream of the cooling medium collides. Furthermore, the tip cap comprises a heat insulating coating 62 on a seat part 58 of the tip cap along the outer surface of the tip cap, thereby lowering metal temperature and thermally induced stress.
