Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic single crystal thin film of good quality in a high yield, an organic single crystal waveguide, and their manufacturing methods. SOLUTION: A bonded body of a bulky single crystal 101 and a substrate 100 is obtained by forming a melted part 102 near the surface of the bulky organic single crystal by a heating means 104 and cooling the melted part 102 by a cooling means 106 in a state where the melted part 102 and the surface of the substrate are contacted face-to-face. The organic single crystal thin film of good quality and the organic single crystal waveguide are obtained in a high yield by using an organic single crystal thin film obtained by cutting the bonded body at a required thickness from the substrate 100 side.
