CAGE OF ELEVATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cage of an elevator for performing maintenance-inspection from the inside of the safe cage, without getting on the top of a car, in the maintenance-inspection of a car top control device. SOLUTION: This elevator has the cage 1, a sliding door type car door 2 for opening and closing the front doorway of the cage, and the car top control device 10 for controlling an apparatus of the car door and the cage; and has inspection doors 6 and 7 openably-closably arranged on a back face wall opposed to the front doorway of the cage and opened toward the inside of the cage, and the car top control device 10 arranged so as to be positioned on the reverse surface side of the inspection door in ordinary elevator operation and movably installed in a position capable of maintenance-inspection work from the cage inside when opening the inspection door.
