IMAGE PROCESSOR, ITS CONTROL METHOD, PROGRAM AND COMPUTER READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user with an operation state of an energy saving mode in an image processor. SOLUTION: If the image processor does not operate for a fixed time at the time of power supply on, the apparatus starts the energy saving mode and records its start time in an NVRAM 4 or a storage 10. Thereafter, the energy saving mode is carried out and the power is saved. During this time, it is always monitored whether or not an energy saving mode release factor (manipulation of an operation panel 6, data reception or the like case wherein the apparatus is turned to a condition to operate) is brought about. When the energy saving mode terminating factor is brought about, the apparatus manually or automatically terminates the energy saving mode, returns to a normal mode, and records the time of termination in the NVRAM 4 or the storage 10. The recorded operation state is manually or automatically outputted. In the case of outputting automatically, outputting is automatically carried out after a fixed period of time passes from the time of recording the operation state or when a storage region becomes full.
