PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor in which a cost increase can be suppressed by utilizing an existing system without requiring a new device and which can improve security for device usage. SOLUTION: An authentication server 2 is connected to the image processor 1, the image processor 1 is composed of an image processing means 1a for performing image processing, an authenticating means 1b for performing unique authentication for itself, an inquiring means 1c for inquiring the result of authentication uniquely performed by the authentication server, and a control means 1d for determining the permission of using the image processing means, wherein the control means 1d allows a user authenticated by the authenticating means 1b to use the image processing means 1a when it is confirmed that the same user as the user is authenticated by the authentication server 2 on the basis of an inquiry by the inquiring means 1c.
