Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the optimum display state of a tool pallet on an image editing image. SOLUTION: The tool pallets displayed on a monitor 105 and the initial state of the display positions on the monitor 105 of the respective tool pallets are stored in an HDD 102 beforehand, and a CPU 104 displays the tool pallet together with an editing object image on the monitor 105 on the basis of the initial state stored in the HDD 102. Thereafter, in the case that the display state of the tool pallet is changed from the initial state, the display state of the tool pallet is restored on the basis of the initial state.
